Patient Fees & Charges

We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of specialist surgical care and expertise.

A guide to our fees are as follows:

Consultation fees

Consultation for oral surgery (surgical extraction of teeth including wisdom teeth, management of impacted teeth, implants, bone grafting): $225

Consultation for oral pathology, skin cancer or benign skin lesions: $250

Consultation for Orthognathic surgery, facial aesthetic surgery (including Rhinoplasty), Facial Trauma, TMJ disorders/facial pain, and sleep apnoea surgery: $275

Please note that if the nature of your referral is especially complex or demands additional consultation time or pre-consultation workup, we may advise you of a higher fee accordingly.

Surgical fees

Costs associated with surgery will vary depending on the nature and complexity of your surgery, and as each procedure is highly individualised we do not have a standardised fee schedule. A fully itemised quote can be provided following your consultation.

The fees associated with your surgery take into consideration not only the time spent completing your procedure, but also the considerable time, care and attention spent planning your surgery, reviewing relevant investigations and medical history, liaising with other medical professionals to provide you with the highest level of care, and attending to your needs following surgery, by all members of our practice team.

Payment of consultation and surgical fees

Consultation fees are to be paid on the day of your appointment. All surgical fees, both for in-clinc or in-hospital procedures, must be paid one week prior to your booking. Failure to do so may result in your surgery being cancelled.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Eftpos/Visa/Mastercard (merchant/payment platform fee may apply)

  • Direct bank transfer

  • Bank Cheque

If you wish to use another payment method, please discuss this with our clinic staff prior to your appointment or procedure.

Medicare and Health Fund Rebates

If you have a valid referral from either a medical or dental practitioner, you may be eligible for a medicare rebate to assist with consultation and surgical fees. In addition, you may be eligible for a private health fund rebate for some of the costs associated with your surgery, including hospital admission fees where applicable. The individual rebate depends on your health fund, and the level of cover that you hold.

After your consultation or surgery, you will be issued with a receipt of service, with all details of your treatment, to submit to your private health fund for any applicable rebates. In some circumstances, you may receive a rebate directly from medicare for any applicable medical item codes.

Please note that some procedures, such as facial cosmetic surgery and some oral surgery items (those covered by dental item codes, which are 3-digit codes), are not currently covered by medicare.

Can I be treated if I don’t have private health insurance?

Yes, we do offer treatment for self-funded patients. We will always endeavour to give you an accurate estimate of all of the costs involved with your surgery before proceeding.
